After graduation, he worked successively at Huawei and Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute, accumulating experience and honing his will in a high-pressure and rigorous environment. Every technological breakthrough and project delivery became a stepping stone towards his ideals. With his insight into industry trends and entrepreneurial enthusiasm, he founded Hunan Xinen Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on the research and development of intelligent testing equipment, applied to the motor industry, new energy industry, special equipment, and teaching equipment industry. The core technology and test bench system independently developed by the company can provide high-precision testing equipment for multiple fields, and all this is inseparable from the solid foundation given to him by the professional courses of his alma mater. Today, Xinen Intelligent has not only received the inspection and guidance of the secretary of the Zhuzhou Municipal Committee but has also reached a strategic cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and its products have successfully entered the overseas market.
In his sharing, Wu Canghui emphasized the power of knowledge and the diversity of career development. Using his own experience as an example, he encouraged students to cherish their college time, maintain a lifelong learning attitude, and create value no matter what career path they choose. He also revealed that he overcame the shortcomings of his education and obtained the title of intermediate engineer, setting an example for his classmates.
Speaking of the hardships of entrepreneurship, Wu Canghui frankly said: “In the early stages of entrepreneurship, lack of funds, technical bottlenecks, and market competition were like three mountains. But it was the rigorous style cultivated at Huawei and the research institute that allowed me and my team to overcome difficulties time and time again. Our company's goal is very clear—to be a small but refined, refined and specialized, specialized and strong, strong and far-reaching, and strong and united industry benchmark, speaking with technological strength.” He also introduced to the students the current national policy orientation and Hunan Province's support measures for entrepreneurship and innovation, emphasizing the opportunities provided by the times. Combining the “university, enterprise, city” integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem, he called on students to seize policy dividends and actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship practices.
Wu Canghui shared with the students from three stages: the past, the present, and the future. Looking back on the past, he frankly stated that he was confused and inferior during his student days; focusing on the present, he expounded on the “competitive advantage forging plan,” encouraging students to participate in club activities, utilize library resources, obtain skill certificates, participate in academic competitions, and seize internship opportunities during winter and summer vacations, correcting the “technology supremacy fallacy”; looking to the future, he emphasized emotional value management, encouraging students to design their life blueprints, establish a sense of planning, and clarify their direction of development.
During the interactive session, students actively asked questions, and Wu Canghui patiently answered them. After the event, the students were deeply encouraged and said that they would strive to transform professional knowledge into the power to change the world.
After the alumni report meeting, Wu Canghui, as the first president of the Manufacturing College Flying Electronic Association, held a symposium with the presidents of seven major professional associations. He emphasized that serving as president is an important opportunity to improve organizational ability and requires coordinating association management while balancing academics, using the spirit of a “leader” to transform management into art; he pointed out that the core value of the association lies in cultivating students' comprehensive abilities, encouraging them to deepen their emotional investment and sense of responsibility for the association with the belief of “the harder you work, the more passionate you become”; at the same time, maintaining contact with former presidents and members is the key to maintaining the association's inheritance, and these resources are not only a link for experience transmission but also an important resource for promoting the sustainable development of the association.
