Motor
refers to all machines that can convert mechanical energy into electrical energy and electrical energy into mechanical energy. Specifically refers to generators, electric machines, motors. The concept of motor and motor motor definition: refers to an electromagnetic device that realizes the conversion or transmission of electric energy according to the law of electromagnetic induction. The motor is also called the motor (commonly known as the motor), in the circuit with the letter "M" (the old standard with "D") said. Its main function is to generate driving torque, as a power source for electrical appliances or various machinery. The
generator is indicated by the letter "G" in the circuit. Its main function is to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. At present, the most commonly used is to use thermal energy, water energy, etc. to promote the generator rotor to generate electricity. With the maturity of wind power generation technology, wind power has slowly entered our lives. The transformer is called a stationary motor in some books. From the definition of motor, it is also reasonable to say so.
Types of motors
1. According to the classification of working power sources, it can be divided into DC motors and AC motors according to the different working power sources of motors. The AC motor is also divided into single-phase motor and three-phase motor.
2. Classification by structure and working principle According to the different structure and working principle of the motor, it can be divided into DC motor, asynchronous motor and synchronous motor. Synchronous motors can also be divided into permanent magnet synchronous motors, reluctance synchronous motors and hysteresis synchronous motors. Asynchronous motors can be divided into induction motors and AC commutator motors. Induction motor is divided into three-phase asynchronous motor, single-phase asynchronous motor and shaded pole asynchronous motor. AC commutator motor is divided into single-phase series motor, AC and DC dual-purpose motor and repulsion motor. According to the structure and working principle, DC motors can be divided into brushless DC motors and brushed DC motors. Brushed DC motors can be divided into permanent magnet DC motors and electromagnetic DC motors. Electromagnetic DC motors are divided into series-excited DC motors, shunt-excited DC motors, separately-excited DC motors and compound-excited DC motors. Permanent magnet DC motor is divided into rare earth permanent magnet DC motor, ferrite permanent magnet DC motor and AlNiCo permanent magnet DC motor.
3. Classification by starting and operating mode According to the different starting and operating modes of the motor, it can be divided into capacitor start single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor operation single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor start operation single-phase asynchronous motor and split phase Type single-phase asynchronous motor.
4. According to the classification of use, it can be divided into drive motors and control motors. Driving motors are divided into motors for electric tools (including drilling, polishing, polishing, slotting, cutting, reaming, etc.), motors for household appliances (including washing machines, electric fans, refrigerators, air conditioners, tape recorders, video recorders, video recorders, DVD machines, vacuum cleaners, cameras, hair dryers, electric shavers, etc.) and motors for other general small mechanical equipment (including various small machine tools, small machinery, medical equipment, electronic equipment, etc.). Control motors are divided into stepping motors and servo motors.
5. According to the structure of the rotor, according to the structure of the motor, it can be divided into cage induction motor (old standard called squirrel cage asynchronous motor) and wound rotor induction motor (old standard called wound induction motor).
6. Classified by operating speed According to the operating speed of the motor, it can be divided into high-speed motor, low-speed motor, constant-speed motor, and speed-regulating motor. Low-speed motors are divided into gear reduction motors, electromagnetic reduction motors, Lizhi motors and claw-pole synchronous motors. In addition to the stepped constant speed motor, the stepless constant speed motor, the stepped variable speed motor
and the stepless variable speed motor, the speed regulating motor can also be divided into electromagnetic speed regulating motor, DC speed regulating motor, PWM variable frequency speed regulating motor and switched reluctance speed regulating motor. The rotor speed of an asynchronous motor is always slightly lower than the synchronous speed of the rotating magnetic field. The rotor speed of the synchronous motor is always maintained at the synchronous speed regardless of the load.
